End of March

Private Pond, no snow this time LAST year

Winter is still lingering on here north of Toronto but after a harsh winter it does feel and look a bit like spring. Night temperatures have been below freezing and a few days have risen above 0°C (32°F) but wind makes the days feel much cooler. In spite of this, much of the snow and ice has melted.

Local creek, some snow and ice in full sun, yesterday

Patches of snow in partially shaded areas

Patches of ice along the edges

I am linking to Sunlit Sunday HERE

The landscape is changing! It's still too cold for me, though. And I really wish you'd keep your cold fronts up there where they belong! Sheesh. Another one his us last night and our temps dropped to 43 degrees! In Florida!

I just got in from a walk and even though it is +3˚C the wind is making it feel like -2˚C but it felt worse to me. I was looking for some flowers but no luck yet!

Beautiful to see spring coming aling your way. Our frozen river's becoming transparent slowly. On one side, water started moving.

These are beautiful sights.

One thing I love about this time of year is the longer daylight hours. As for snow, it's all gone now, at least for today!
