Older Home

 Port Perry House

Saturday, my husband and I met friends for lunch and afterwards took my camera for a ride down some of Port Perry's oldest streets. Sadly, it was blustery and COLD so I do need to go back and get some better photos! However, this is one  older home I photographed.

This is very beautiful home set off by the snow. Are those Christmas decorations still up?

Camera Girl you are a hardy soul going out in that bitter COLD. Missed you by a couple days in Port Perry. The wife and I had lunch at Pantry Shelf The Cafe Bakery. It is located at 172 Water St.

A lovely house indeed. White with green shutters has always been my favorite style too. When I grew up the prettiest houses were like that. To me anyway.

This is the kind of home I daydreamed about when I was a kid.

This looks almost exactly like the Illinois home my husband grew up in. Love it!

My mother grew up in a classic home that looked very like this one, even the green shutters. In the State of Kentucky. She kept a painting of it. I only saw it once as she couldn't afford to travel with us.
