Trout Lily (Erythronium americanum)
Y is for yellow "Y" (wy)-ldflowers
YES, woodland wildflowers are finally beginning to bloom here in central Ontario.
Marsh Marigold (Caltha palustris)
Bonus - there's a reflection.
Wakerobin (Trillium)
True, the trillium is not yellow...but the pollen is.

Nice yellows, even if it is just pollen.

Pretty yellows, and I love the reflection shot.
enjoying the beauty and smiling really big at the "Y" (wy)-ldflowers
LOVE that.
I just adore the first wildflowers, and you capture them perfectly!
I enlarged the photos...outstanding!!! Great post as always. Smiled at the reference to "Y"ildflowers. Cute.
such beauties. hooray!
We're awash in pink and white with all the crab apple trees.
The special trillium. :) :) :)
I'm so glad to see the spring in Ontario. I miss all five minutes of it!
I love lilies, and that one is gorgeous.
'Y'ild for sure!
The first image is just... perfect!
Oh, I'm so glad to see the colors in your world today and I know how happy you must be!! I love your pics for the day! The reflections in water are perfect!! Enjoy your day!!
I've always loved seeing trilliums- this one's a real beauty.
Flowers certainly brighten up a day!!
It's great to see everything opening up!
I wonder why my stamens were red and yours aren't.
I went looking for trilliums this morning. When I snapped the shutter, I realized that I had left my flash card at home. Both flash cards in point of fact. I have these kinds of moments fairly frequently.
Oh, heck! I've got some pics of y-ildflowers I could have shared. :-)
Simply beautiful!
Ah, the flowers of spring!
Beautiful! I love those wildflowers.
I love the reflection picture, that is my favorite! Plus these flowers are new to me!
Love those yellow lilies!
Trout Lilies are just so photogenic...the trillium is beautiful, too.
just love the last photo.
Flowers are lovely bits of sunshine, no matter where you find them and these are just wonderful!
Beautiful!
I think it's time for me to walk the trails in York Forest again. Last time I was there it was too icy to walk..... the ice will be gone by now and the trilliums will be blooming.
Lovely soothing light in the pics.
You did a much better job than me with the yellow EG :) Lovely images.
They are beautiful! For some reason, I don't seem to get many wildflowers in my pasture. I don't suppose that would be because of goats. Glad I get to enjoy yours.
Wow - such lovely shots. That first one is my favourite.
Beautiful flowers!!!
Absolute beauties!
Beautiful light in these images!! I love the buttery feel of the first image!!
What a nice variety of Ylyflowers!
