Swamp Lookout

Shadows on bottom of  lookout on dike at Tiny Marsh

I enjoy taking my camera to Tiny Marsh. a great birdwatching area, plus I like taking photos of the flora there.  This is a closeup of the lookout on the dike that crosse the marsh, which I pretty much passed by because I wanted to see the sandhill cranes that nest further along. Well,  I never did see the sandhill cranes. Hmmmm.

I've seen the Sandhill Cranes at the Corkscrew Preserve in Naples Florida but have never seen them up here. They are pretty impressive!

From gentle to bold shadows. A lovely progression of views of the lookout.

I went to a marsh yesterday, and it was anything but inspiring. I will post about it this week.

I would just love to have a place like this close by...but then I guess I would spend too much time there.
