Hollyhocks
An old-fashioned flower that reseeds itself in some of the most delightful places...and sometimes not. This plant is in a great spot.
Balloon Flower
The bud below the three blossoms shows you how this flower got it's name.
Purple coneflowers
I don't think it's possible to plant too many of these! They bloom for a long period and insects LOVE them for their nectar, especially butterflies.

Such delicate colours!
Nice photos Camera Girl. It is that time of year when we get flowers in bloom everywhere.
Marvelous photos of very pretty flowers. The balloon flower is one I love for its interesting design and how it starts out as a 'balloon '.
I love the colour of the hollyhocks.
A beautiful selection from your garden. I am smiling! :D

Lovely photos! Flowers always make me smile.
Hollyhocks are a traditional flower around here.
Is it too simplistic to say they are all so pretty and the photos are gorgeous?
The first photo reminds me of my sister's parasol, from years ago.
Have a Great Week!
Peace :)
Your flower images are stunning!
I love the hollyhocks, we have them in NZ too.
Beautiful! The Hollyhocks have been a favourite for many years,of course the Coneflower is right up there near the top of the favourites list as well.
All three are good, but for me, the hollyhocks were the ones that jumped out at me.
So enjoyable!
Beautiful photos!
All the best!
Lovely pics. I tried planting Hollyhock but unsuccessful
Hollyhocks (and especially pink ones) and coneflowers are among my favorites. I don't think I've ever seen balloon flowers but I love the blue color. Just seeing these beautiful photos makes me want to plant a new garden!
Beautiful capture on the colourful flowers! Love the cool balloon flower
Nice flowers, and I agree about echinacea.

Such pretty colours, EG!
They are all so pretty but my favourite is the hollyhocks macro!
Those hollyhocks are beautiful! I really wish mine hadn't died out (okay, goats may have eaten them).
I have two out of three of these growing in my garden (no hollyhocks, sadly). I love your macro of the hollyhocks. You can see all the delicate pollen.
Gorgeous flowers! I love the coneflowers.
