Bales of hay, first cut of the year
This is one of my most favourite farms in East Gwillimbury. I enjoy watching the changes here from season to season.

Haying time, a season I always looked forward to. (And still do!)
You've captured the spirit of it beautifully.
I love watching the farmer bring in thehay. Lovely countryside around you area.
Oh now it is my favourite place in East Gwillimbury and I have never been there:) Nice place and fence. Hug B
I does look like a nice farm.
Good morning, pretty farm. I love the field with the baled hay! Love the barn shot too. Have a happy day!
So far this year we've only had one hay cutting also. All those rains in May and June caused hay havoc. But second will come shortly and maybe even a third in September. I always like seeing the rolls drying in the fields. It seems to have a somewhat calming effect. Isn't that odd?
the grass looks like emerald carpet or emerald velvet.
I don't know just what it is about barns but I do love them! This would be one of my faves too if I lived in EG.
I remember Hay time. Nice fences.
i really find that simple & calming views like a field with hay bales is very calming. what could be better? lovely shot. ( :
Really nice photos! I like the fences. I'm used to seeing wood and barb wire fences around here too.
that first vista is awesome! love seeing hay in the fields. :)
Those barns are awesome.
I love your shot of the hay field...and of course I love those barns and fences.
One of my favorite scenes are fields filled with rolled hay bales. Your shots are wonderful.
Love that first photo. It could have been taken right here!
What luscious shots.
A very pleasant looking farm!
I always love to see bales of hay, I don't really know why. Thank you for posting this one - it's a lovely, peaceful image.
I always love seeing those round hay bales scattered around fields.
Love the wide spaces and the picturesque farm!
Such a lovely view.
A bucolic scene. And so much wonderful green!!!
You make me long to be a better photog!
Aloha
Makes me want to sit on a bale and then roll down the hill!!
Seeing a field of bales always makes me smile. It looks so neat and tidy.
Nice rolling hills, EG!
Definitely a wonderful farm and country area.
Ah, reminds me of fun summers spent on an uncle's farm as a young girl with all the green and bails of hay!! Thanks for the memories, EG, and the beauty as always!! Have a great weekend!!
Beautiful pastoral images!
That really is a beautiful farm. I can see why it's your favorite! Great photos, and thanks for sharing.
Wow, that first picture ... it is so green! Wonderful!
magical view of the green hillside and so love the old barn. It as so much character.
I am eager to see this scene with my own two eyes since I haven't so far.
Hi Tina,
Beautiful farm scenes!
I simply love that teal roof on the barn.
Have a Wonderful Day!
Peace :)
So green and pretty.
Your first image is so simple and yet so pretty. It doesn't take fancy to evoke an emotion, does it?
Things have really greened up where you are.
What a pretty field of baled hay behind that fence. Also I liked the barn shot as well. Country scenes are so nice to look at but I'm happy to be a "city" girl.
I like the rolls of hay! Very pretty and reassuring in that prosperous farms mean there's food coming.
love that scenery! Almost can't wait till summer here :-)
wow so lush + green! lovely!
yes, this is a good place to follow. Lovely lines and curves in nature :)
Indeed a very stunning landscape . A bit out of a fairytale.
Hay is for horses, or so I hear!

Pretty rural scenery. I'm seeing this all around in my area..but bale hay is hard to find right now. Love the barns.
The first shot looks so good!
Great pics for the theme.
Such pleasing rural images.
I just love it! My kind of place.
Lovely rural scenes. Love the shapes of the tall barns in your part of the world!
Beautiful images. There's nothing like the good feeling of getting hay made. I'm hoping to do that this week.
