Bride in Port Perry's business district
We (a few family members) were in Port Perry to eat delicious Fish and Chips - definitely worth the drive - when saw this bridal party walking down the middle of this Port Perry main street.
Photographers in action
Heading towards the Lake Scugog, a great setting for photo ops
Apparently in Port Perry this is not unusual, although I had never seen it before.

A traditional Scottish wedding too! Terrific shots, EG!
I have, one weading I went to the bride walked down the street.
I'm very glad no one made me wear a kelt at my wedding. :-)
Super capture of the wedding party.
Great captures of the bride and wedding party! Have a happy Monday and a great new week ahead!
A great photo op and some really nice Scottish dresses!
Interesting that they are walking down the center of the street. Was the street closed to traffic?

A bride on the loose and Captain George's Fish & Chips... awesome.
Interesting shots from Port Perry and you reminded me that I haven't had Fish and Chips for a while ... gonna do that this week! :-) Thanks for sharing and have a fine week ahead.
It's always fun to come across a wedding.
Gorgeous! Port Perry is so pretty too. Did you go to Captain George's Fish'n'chips?
Interesting bridal party, great shots!
Lovin' this....and to have the men in kilts is so cool.
LOVE the kilts!
Beautiful capture and the bridal and girls look pretty! Seems like a great occasion for photography.
I am not a big fan of traditional weddings....but thinking outside the wedding box, that I adore!!!!
VERY interesting... I have never seen this either. we did see a bridal party running through our mall a few years ago. they worked at a store in the mall and had their party in the store
Lovely shots - and I really like the kilt.
Love these candid shots. I invite you to share your post with others on my new photo meme called "Through My Lens". The link is down below. Thanks!

Oooooh! Such a nice scene!
A wonderful photo op. These are great!
Wonderful captures.
I like the guy's outfit. Must be the Scottish in me. Ach me laddie..
Nice to see the traditional outfit at this particular wedding party. Great shots!
What fun captures for the day, EG!! Love the kilts!! Hope your new week is off to a great start!! Enjoy!!
What an awesome parade to capture. I think the men in their kilts are as proud of their heritage as the lovely bride is of her beautiful dress. I wish them a happy future.
Love the kilts, EG! Lucky you to be able to capture this event!
You were lucky to be in the right time in the right place. Wonderful shots from this nice scottish wedding couple.
A neat tradition!
I've never lived anywhere where it was cool enough in the summer to walk down the street in a wedding dress! Looks fun!
Looks like she has a whole load of paparazzi following her!
It's always special feeling with weddings ☆

Very nice!
It doesn't get any better than a kilt wedding!
What a happy scene.
Fascinating custom... Love those kilts! Was trying to read the blackboard the flowergirl is carrying, but couldn't.
Great photos - they all look to be enjoying themselves.
Wonderful shots...but for some reason I expected to see a horse or two.
You were in the right place at the right time for these pictures.
I love stumbling upon bridal parties. It is always such a joyous occasion to witness a peek.
Sweet photos! Especially of the girl carrying the little sign. You captured the joy on the bride's face. What a wonderful occasion.
Here comes the lovely bride and her handsome groom, what a fabulous capture!
What fun to see kilts in a wedding party. The looks both lovely and happy. The youngest girl in the wedding party is also beautiful.
Those wedding photos, they take them where the couple fancies them. We've encountered them in museum, in the park, in a square. It's nice to see and take photos of them.
Cool wedding with kilts and all! Reminds me of my/our wedding where one gent wore a kilt. How cool!
It also reminds me of my blogging buddy, "Old Fool" {yup - that was the name of his blog}, who passed a few years back. He had a quote by Oscar Wilde, which said something like - "Pants are an inconvenient invention by a man" :)
Your photos of the wedding party are super!
Have a Great Week!
Peace :)
A beautiful bride and I like seeing those kilts!
Life Continues!
I did a few bridal trials too. one was in the cold, and I pitied the bride.
Beautiful captures, thanks so much for sharing.
Wow! I like such scenes. So well taken.
Great shots, I wish them well!
They must have been a very well photographed couple! xx
I do love a man in a kilt EG :)
In Hartford, I could show nothing but stolen wedding pix. If I walk over to Elizabeth Park on a summer Friday or Saturday around five o'clock, I will find a dozen wedding parties strewn around the park.
I love it! The clothes of the bride as well as the groom, and the casualness of walking down the street!
