Side facing the sidewalk
This is another recycled door, part of Streets Alive! Downtown Doors in Orillia, a city a bit more than an hour north of where I live. A couple of weeks ago, I showed you another of the Streets Alive! Downtown Doors here and another posted last Saturday HERE .
This door - transformed by Karen Bell, a community studies teacher at Georgian College - invites you to open it to check out the other side.
Closeup of some of the knobs
So imagine you can pull on a knob and...
Side facing the street
find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Obviously, doors need no longer be boring. :-)
Very cool and creatively remodeled door with number of knobs and keels! Also like the colorful one at last

Just shows what somebody with a little imagination can do.
Good morning, what a cool door. I like both sides but the rainbow of colors is my favorite. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
Great door. Pity it is not in use anymore. Stil nice to see.
It's an odd idea, but it works really well.

Those doorknobs remind me of some 'wonderland' scene. Which one to turn?
I love that. SO creative. I could use that on a house.
These are cool. Makes me want to do something like that to my front door. Oh wait...I'm married.
Pick a knob and see what you get. I don’t know how that was done but it looks brilliant. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our front doors were as magical as that.
Colourful and eclectic!
That is great fun, EG!
So much color and so creative and imaginative!! Your captures have caught it all perfectly, as always!! Hope you have a great new week! Enjoy!!
Another beautiful door. The street-facing side was a real surprise!
These totally rock!
Absolutely great! Creativity and recycling at its best!
Wow this is really nice. Love idea of recycled door and a treasure behind it :)
Fantastic!
So which knob DO you use? :-) Love it!
What artistic talent. What an interesting post!
I like the street side but must withhold judgment on the sidewalk side. All those knobs and handles just doesn't quite grab me. I guess it's just a matter of different strokes for different folks, eh?
What a fascinating old door, lots of bells and whistles and the rainbow design is cool.
I really love this exhibit! All the doors are so interesting! This one has quite an interesting assortment of knobs. Is that mirror above the rainbow?
Celebration of the commonplace in an uncommon day!
Fascinating "door art"! What fun!
Wonderful!!! I would like to do this to one of my doors!!
These are beautiful!!!
I adore artists with a sense of whimsy. The door is awesome. I couldn't help but notice the fleur de lis. :) Wonderful shots of this fun art form.
What a beautiful door and artwork! They even had me on one of them :)
Have a Great Week!
Peace :)
Oh, my, I am glad I don't have to pick a favorite. Each one so far is so unique.
