The steam locomotive is classic that needs some TLC.

The saying “run out of steam” comes to mind seeing this lovely heritage train.

I hope no one was expecting to take a ride on the train. Great fence scenes. Have a happy day!

It is a quite strange for us a day without trains. Trains are often late, but they keep passing every day...

Fenced off and forlorn! But great photos all the same especially the old steam engine and the rusty tracks!

Now, this is a place I'd have some fun visiting.

Rustic and whimsical captures. That old steam engine brings back childhood memories.

That locomotive certainly looks enduring!

It doesn't look like any trains have been going anywhere for some time. That's a shame. Nice series, EG!

Nice serie !

Love seeing the train! That fence across the tracks says something we've all felt!

Cranberry Morning said...

No trains... but I like the tracks. And that wonderful old engine!

What a bummer that no trains were running. Does the fence move off the tracks? I liked your photo with the fence and the tracks as we as the cool engine shot.

As always, a little twist!

Love the engine, EG! It needs a bit of work and then will be beautiful again!

now that's a new take on a rail fence. :)

Disappointment!!

Oh my gosh...I wouldn't expect to ride the rails in THAT. But such a great 'take' on fencing. Lovin' it.

Yep, they meant what they said apparently. No trains today. Good fence pics!

Love old railroad trains. This one doesn't look like it has run in a long time. We have a narrow gauge steam train running in the Black Hills of South Dakota called the 1880 train, but the engine is more like 1920. Lovely photos.

Is this like a tour train? I love seeing old trains and engines.

was that at Tottenham? Never been on that train.

Awesome looking steam engine there! Too bad there are no trains though. I have several that pass by not far from my house every day. I love hearing them blow their horn, especially at night.

Pictures of railroad tracks are always intriguing and even more so with a fence across them!

Trains are another subject that interests me...and calls to me. I would love to have hoboed a train. LOL

Jack said...

Yeah. It is going to be hard for the train to get through that fence.
