Sky over Potato Farm/Sky Watch

The sky over this East Gwillimbury potato farm looks cold because it is. Brrr. The potatoes were harvested months ago.

The owners are probably either in Florida or on their way. LOL

The sky looks huge in these pictures, beautiful.

In Florida an missing all this beauty? Send them a potato.

PS I'm not a pilot - you are looking across a small fjord towards the island that protects the outer coast. The clouds were over the ocean.

Beautiful and cold, the sepia scene is super too.

It does look cold because it is so cold already! I like the pink tones in the sky...adds a wee bit of warmth.

Yikes - if they missed any spuds, they must be rocks by now! Wonderful shots, even if they do make my teeth chatter!

They definitely don't need the watering system there in the field do they!
Beautiful skies!
It looks sooooo... cold.

Thank goodness for (small Murphies also known as mercies),that the tattes were in last week, or the price would hike again.

These photos and the subject matter could have been taken and written in Northern Maine! Oh, you bring back memories. My son still lives there and I suppose it looks like this out his window right now! Though it's warmer here in Tucson, the sky is overcast and it only warmed into the low 60's today. I have a long-sleeve shirt on as a result. I'm sure you don't feel sorry for me! ;)

I wonder how that snow stays just on one side of the trees trunk ?
That gives a wonderful effect.
It depends on how long is the winter, but I would have loved to stay a little in front of such landscape...... and leaving for Florida just after .

At least you get your greeting cards.
