Chickadees are such dainty birds. The ones at your feeder must be very tame or else you have a fantastic telephoto lens.

We saw them all winter long :) Now that the weather is getting warmer not so much :(

They high-tail it out of Dodge whenever I come near the feeders, along with the cardinals, the finches, the warblers, and the sparrows. But if I stand very still they are always the first ones to return.

Chick A Dees are such polite birds, usually grabbing their seed and flying off to a tree to eat it. Great shots.

You are very good to those birds; they need us to help them survive the winter!

We live in a bird sanctuary and have lots of sparrows and some other birds I can't name, but none are as cute as these chickadees. I do love hearing them chirping all day long, though.

I love chickadees and am always thrilled to see them. There's a rest area just off Hwy. 2 southbound between Red Deer and Calgary, and the chickadees there are the fattest, cutest little birds I've ever seen. Whenever we get a chance to stop there, the chickadees make me happy!

A good subject for Camera Critters. They are the only birds I have ever hand fed.
