Shoreline/ Scenic Sunday

Lake Ontario at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario

Last Sunday the sky was alternately cloudy and blue depending on which way the wind was blowing and how close we were to Lake Ontario. Although this was taken on the SOUTH side of Lake Ontario, it's in Canada.

As you can see by the red marker, Niagara-on-the-Lake is just over the border in Canada.

Picture perfect. Love the green barn too!

I think your vanity tags could say something about being NORTH of NIAGRA!

The detail of the empty bench and the flag adds so much to the mood of this photo for me.

this is a WOW photo, along with the green barn and horses. when the page loaded and I scrolled down, my jaw dropped. I love that green; it would be considered an unusual barn color here in the Midwest. the broken up ice and the sky in the lake photo are so gorgeous. It's amazing that in a short while (really) the lake will be clear and those cool spring breezes will be blowing in. I hope you're having a beautiful weekend!

You may have been on the south shore, but it sure does look cold. Beautiful, but cold.

I just love NOTL, as the locals (or at least the actors) call it!
My son was there for two seasons of Shaw Festival.
I make it a point to drink NOTL wine, too!
I have fond memories. Thanks for sharing.
