Snowy Field/ SOOC

North of Mount Albert (East Gwillimbury), Ontario

A few flurries every day keeps the snow white, looking pristine, but the day I took this photo no snow fell and the sky was free of clouds. There's something invigorating about a blue sky!

So strange to imagine you at the other side of the world, with all this snow, when here it's sunny and almost spring.. Your landscape seems so quiet and peaceful!

Definitely showing the countryside at it's best! Snowing here today. I love the look of the sow but wouldn't it be nice to have it a little less time? Have a good one!

Love how this shows the lay of the land. (I am ready for some blue skies here! We had about 3 inches of snow yesterday, but the streets melted off real quick...and a lot of it is gone. Tomorrow supposed to be in the 50's but with rain.)

I was visiting a friend in Mount Albert last night.... that's a lovely view across the white frozen fields but I an yearning for spring. This winter seems to have been so snowy and far too long.

Love how the snow lies so softly on the branches of the fir trees.

Looks wonderful to me! We finally got snow again (2 time this winter) Wednewsday night and then again early Thursday before I awoke. You know what I did all day Thursday even tho I was up late walking in the snow the night before! Possible new snwostorm tonight or Sunday. Only a little remains on the grass now and that is because we have had temperatures in the 20's at night.

I love your snowpack and blue skies! Our sky was blue Thursday with our snow too!

Oh yes, blue sky and snow is a great combination.

A pretty scene. Snow is almost bearable if the skies are blue soon after the snowfall. (I said "almost" . . . )

Beautiful farm, EG. There is nothing more peaceful for me than a fresh blanket of snow upon the landscape.

Looks like a truly gorgeous day north of East Gwillimbury! And you took wonderful advantage of it with this beautiful rural shot! Reminds me of Ocala's rolling hills...well, without the snow...

"Wonky"? Heh, heh!

Yes. Don't you just love to get out and walk in the snow on a bright blue-skied day?! ( "blue-skied," probably not really a word, right?)

A blue sky in winter always lifts my spirits. Lovely photo. I really like the color of the pale green barn in the snowy landscape.

The blue sky sets this scene off perfectly. I really like that pristine snow.

great landscape and there is nothing like blue skies and sun to melt the snow away, wich I long for

There is also something very invigorating about NO SNOW, too. We are so tired of it already. The barn looks neat and trim in this pastoral setting! The colour green of the barn is unusual since I'm used to either white or red.

Beautiful spot. As tiring as all this snow has been, it still has the power to awe and impress.
