Singing Chickadee/ Sunday Best

Chick-a-dee-dee-dee

Last Wednesday, this little black-capped chickadee was singing its heart out, so happy the day was warm and sunny.

Wonderful shot, EG! You even caught it with its beak open!

Did you break out in song, too?

Great shot. We have chickadees visiting our bird feeders, but I haven't been lucky enough to get a good shot when their in the tree.

I've seen some cardinals in my yard lately, but no chickadees. I love those little guys. They're so cute! And the song is nice too. :)

Pretty soon those branches won't be bare and we'll have a hard time finding these little guys. :)

Suweeet! I can almost hear this little chickadee!

[On my memorial post the other day you expressed interest in my note that the power lines make the buried souls uncomfortable. Don't lines disturb your view of nature? The idea is that the ancestors continue to enjoy the same comforts and joys we do.]

They are so cute. The ones around our place have been scouting out nesting boxes.

Nicely done. I always associate chickadees with winter, and yet you show it as spring approaches. Maybe they leave New England and go up to visit you in the spring?

Wow! Nice shot you have of this cute little bird.

Aren't they the cutest birds? I was so happy earlier this year when I captured some images of chickadees....all by chance!
