Sailing on Lake Ontario

 Learning to tack

It's July one way to keep cool is to sail.

 Sailing just beyond the harbour

The sailboats  look so tiny in the distance.

 A closer look

 Some sails are colourful!

A few water lovers enjoy the harbour without sails.

Looks like fun. I'd love to try to paddle board. MB

This is the season that sailors enjoy a lot in my neck of the woods on a breezy day. The pretty vessels dot the seascape along with the paddle boarders who use their own power to sail the sea.

That would be something to know how to do - sail a boat.

Great shots. I used to have a sailboat and enjoyed sailing a lot. I miss it but got to the point where we didn't sail enough to warrant keeping the boat.

Your lakes look like the sea to me :-) I remember that's the impression I had when I first spotted Lac St Jean in Québec, couldn't see the other side, incredible! Lovely photos!

I haven't sailed since I was a kid, but I remember it as being great fun! You mean it's hot up in them thar parts?

Love the photos and the little girl is so darn cute!

Re your comment: No problem; just routine. He did the surgery on my knee about 3 years ago when I fell on a golf course in Tennessee.

Hope all continues to go well with you and your husband, too!
