It's the colour that grabs me in these photos.
It must be pure joy seeing them bloom again over and over year after year!
Oh, EG! I totally love these...specially that first. If I was an art quilter, i would want permission to use it to create a quilt.
Gorgeous! I LOVE the first shot!
A wonderful series of captures here. The stunning contrast of colours in that last shot grab my vote! Thanks for sharing.
Oh my, this poppy is absolutely exquisite!
I love the last image. very artsy!
Ooohhh, so pretty!! That first shot is AWESOME!
Such a lovely shade of red, and I like the deeper splashes of color and the ring of stamens. How nice that they return for you.
Such a beautiful flower and the color is gorgeous! Wonderful photos!
I would love to frame that last photo and hang on my walls. thanks for dropping byhttp://www.photosbyjanuary.com/2014/06/the-cherry-blossoms-in-nanjing-china.html
Your third poppy photo is my favorite, EG camera girl!In the second photo the background is much too busy. That's what I always try to avoid when taking objects and people. The eye of a viewer should have the opportunity to linger over the main motif without too much distraction.Have a great start into a new day!Uwe.
Very pretty! It's always nice to have flowers that take care of themselves. I wish we had some!
