Not many perennials are fresh this time of year, so Japanese anemones are a welcome sight in my and several of my friends' gardens. I haven't figured out why more people don't grow them! Can you help me out here?
And as you can see they are floriferous once they become well established.

Wow, they really are stunning flowers. I don't think I've ever seen them before. Beautiful photos.

Lovely, these Japanese anemones!
I don't know why either. These are awesome!! Oh, I really like this offering.

I would like to have them if I could ... They are beautiful.
Maybe people don't know about them? I need to see if they will grow in the desert.
I always let out a little "ooooohhh" when I open your blog page. Your photos are wonderful, and this is no exception! Lovely flowers.
I would say these are two-toned pinks as in blush and bashful (to steal a line from "Steel Magnolias."
I haven't seen these before, and I will seek them out. Do they smell good?
Fantastic view!
Great photo in perfect capture!
Marvelous post!
have a nice days,
Santilli
I have some big groups of this plant in my yard also. They are tough, which is great, and they flower when not that much else is going. I truly love their round buds. But the slight brown edges mine have too make a truly perfect photo a hard thing to achieve.
I don't know why more people grow them either. There are many colors too. White, pink, dark pink and wine colored and there are singles and near doubles. Really pretty. MB
They are beauties indeed - thank you for sharing!
I don't know the flower @ all, more's the pity.
They are very pretty.
Stunning flower shots here! Love them both:D My first time to join with this Meme! I hope you can drop by! Mine is here. Happy TF!~
I don't think I had ever seen these before but have heard of them...they are elegant and beautiful.
We don't grow them because I've never seen or heard of them. I'm going to show DH (the gardener here) this picture and maybe next year some will appear in our garden.

Fantastic! What a wonderful shot! Just perfect.
I had one of these lovely plants, but this year it got crowded out by some faster growing sedum one side and galliardia the other side, so I moved it to another location, and then the dog ate it!
So I'll have to make do with your photos this year and hope that the roots got established enough to make an appearance next year!
Beautiful photography, Sweet flowers! Happy Fall to you...
Hey EG Guide, you still have time to go to the Chinese Lantern festival at Ontario Place, it's on till Thanksgiving I think... and I have a leftover discount entrance ticket if you want it!
Very nice picture.
Beautiful flowers. Great Nature.
Gorgeous flowers - the buds are very pretty too! Beautiful photos!
Wow, great shots. I love the color.
Floriferous... now THERE'S a word you don't hear every day! Yes, quite! I especially like the way you captured the texture on those fuzzy buds.
Wonderful flowers!
Did I say to you that your banner is gorgeous?
great photo of the beautiful flowers
They look so delicate. You have me stumped as to why I don't see them more. They are perfect.
They are beautiful! I think I tried them once, years ago. I cannot remember what happened to them, but if I had to guess, I'd say they were eaten by the deer. :) I'll have to try again.
Beautiful flower, great photographs.
Gorgeous picture of the beautiful Japanese anemones. I'm seeing the flower for the first time.
Check out my yellow wild daisies here
I've never seen these before. They are lovely!!
