I think they are is season huh?
There are lots and lots of them around where I live, but not as colourful as this one! He blends in with the flower! Ewwww!
spooky stuff that spider on Aster.
Those spiders almost give me the creeps more than the hairy ones! By the way, it is a wonderful photo.
Love that spider..do you know what kind it is?
This looks like what I have heard called a, "Crab Spider," but I am not sure that is its proper name. I am too lazy this morning to look it up.
It is a nice photo and the Asters steal the stage so he is hardly even noticed. Nice photography.
I think spidey is trying to be incognito, but you found him. Beautiful!
How well that spider matches the color in the Aster. I suppose it is some kind of camouflage.
Darla
How nice of the spider to be color coordinated :-) This is a fantastic shot!
Too lovely and very crisp :)
Amazing photograph,
I know very well this species of spider, he is impressive hunter of bees, with marvellous results!
Very beautifully and brightly the flowers!
Great post!
It's such a pretty shot! :)
Really a COOL photo. I love spiders, and you can find so many different ones to photograph. Great picture.
Wow, gorgeous photo! A couple more steps for that spider and he'd be totally camoflauged!
Wow! What a shot.
Love those asters -- so pretty! And Spidey's kinda cute, too. :)
The spider has a lovely spot to roam!
Those are so beautiful. Great Shot.
This is absolutely breathtaking! What a GORGEOUS flower!! Love the composition!!
Lots of nature on your blog... I like it... beautiful catch...
Really gorgeous - love that green center and I agree with some of the others - spidey sure blends in!
Excellent photo!
Beautiful. It rather looks like one of my beloved crab spiders. Great shot!
He's dressed right for the job!
This is simply amazing!
I haven't noticied the spyder on the thumbnail, but I really felt like seeing the bigger picture. Very nice shot!
That is one of those crab spiders that wait patiently and blen inon flowers and then they attack their prey (ant, fly) and while we enjoy the flowers they enjoy a meal. LOL!!
that looks like a daisy flower I used to paint on my face in my 'happenin' youth. MB
How neat..he matches the flower. I love your asters. They are gorgeous!
