You're right, I took these photos a couple of weeks ago...then promptly forgot them. I'm clueless as to how I did THAT!
Sunflowers are among my favourite flowers, and the ones in this field were blooming like crazy for all passersby to enjoy
As you can see, it's not just a tiny patch. I wonder if the owners harvest them for the winter bird feeders. I hope the squirrels don't find them first!
The sunflowers in my own gardens are tiny this year and just beginning to flower. I hope the seeds still have time to develop as I LOVE watching goldfinches pick them up out and devour them.
Thank you, Blue, (http://behindkyanitesdoor.blogspot.com) for this truly unexpected award. My blog will wear it with pride!
In Blogland there are far too many blogs that I really like to chose just one or even seven to pass this award on to. If I've visited your blog more than once, then be sure I enjoy your blog. You have my permission to award yourself. ;-) And if I'm a frequent visitor, you are among my faves. ;-)))

I love Sunflowers too.
They remind me of wonderful holidays in Italy, where the fields seem to go on for ever around Umbria & Tuscany.
And, it amuses me, the way they turn their heads to follow the sun.
Thanks! Looking at these photo's started my day with a smile. There is just something so happy about sunflowers.

Truly gorgeous! Last year we had a field of sunflowers just up the road, but not this year. Of course, I couldn't seem to remember to take my camera when traveling north. BJ
I think almost everyone loves sunflowers...I have posted numerous pictures of them already. I don't have any in my own yard this year--the first time for that to happen in years. Usually if nothing else they reseed themselves. I don't know what happened to them, or why I didn't get any out.
Sunflowers are one of my favorites too! Since we recently moved, my new kitchen is a deep red and I want to put a pretty vase full of sunflowers in there!
I've always wanted to make my kids one of those sunflower forts, but never planned it out far enough in advance...maybe by the time I have grandkids I will, lol.
Beautiful photographs!

Sunflowers, million suns - beautiful!
beautiful sunflower landscape...
I came by for Sky Watch. These photos are so beautiful. Sunflowers are so special and I love seeing them in the wild.
Congratulations on the awards.
That is a nice way to handle awards...I may have to copy that. LOL. I LOVE sunflowers and mine are blooming well due to all the rain maybe...
