The weather was still warm and the leaves still on the trees, so we drove north to Lake Simcoe. The morning had been beautiful,
OOPS! Maybe we should have checked the weather forecast first. ;-)

Beautiful. This could be in Norway :-)
Beautiful, I bet you're glad it's not Norway!
It's a gorgeous photo!
Super photo. It looks so beautiful there.
What a beautiful lake! Thank you for sharing it.
Great shot. I like days like this. It gives a whole different feel to being near a lake. :-)
I like those clouds, and the water together. Looks like you might get wet.
Hope you didn't get wet for Watery Wednesday, but the weather did make for a pretty picture.
Boy those clouds look like they mean business. Perfect for watery wed. MB
Certainly does look like you are sitting on the edge of that lake awaiting the storm.
Lovely image!
Beautiful!
Thanks to your Sepia entry of last week or else i won't be able to find this wonderful meme. :)
Happy WW!
:D, my car has reverse and I know how to use it. Glad you took the time to snap a photo.
Perfect shot of a very peaceful place. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!

This would make a great sky watch pictures, also. Love those clouds.
Did you make it back to the car before getting wet? It looks like it was about to rain any minute.

We never know if the weather is going to be good for our photos. It sets the mood for us, it worked out for you even if the day didn't seem great.
at least the lake's still liquid, not solid!
and I hope it will still be liquid when we get home in 11 days time!
That's just so atmospehereic.
It's still looks so beautiful even though dark clouds are coming. Such a great shot!
That lake does look moody for sure.
I was peeking at your other posts and I absolutely love that barn photo you did in black and white. That is one very stunning shot! It is worthy of framing.
