This little character thought s/he was hiding. Ha!
Now that there's snow on the ground...
it's hard to hide the trail, eh?

Great shot and I love that you also captured his cute little footprints!
I love watching for tracks in the snow...sure is a nice capture of Mr. Squirrel. If it is a he...we don't have the black squirrel right here in our area so I would love to see one in real life.
Love black squirrels! A great photo. I also love the previous posted photo of the snow. That is fantastic!
Nice fellow, but I think I prefer th photo of the trail. It has got that something special.
A very dark squirrel to be out in snow.
Great capture of the little guy. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!

I'm not used to seeing these black squirrels, we only have grey ones and red (rare) ones here. Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing :)
You are turning into a tracker! I like the new word "cameara" :D
Adorable! Especially with the addition of the tell-tale footprints in the snow!
Isn't he cute!
I've never seen a black squirrel and must ask my brother if we have any in this area.
Those track pics are awesome.
Cute little guy..I saw what I thought were strange footprints in the snow..upon closer inspection, I found them to be webbed and of the goose that is in our yard..LOL...

Love it. Never seen a black squirrel, and never will here. Those riny footprints are just adorable. I see Mr linky has sabbotaged all our posts again.
Judi,
Bwahaha! I have very creative fingers.
An excellent series. I have never gotten a photo of a black squirrel.
OMG I love the footprints! Great shot of the owner as well!
Black squirrels are my favorite, but we don't have any around here. There is a town about 20 miles from here that has lots of blacks, and the town folks feed them.
We don't get to see black squirrels here. Beautiful shot you have here.
You can't hide in the snow ... unless you can escape into spring. That's still a ways off.
Great photo! I love the trails. Wish i could ran after them. :)
Mine is a dating couple. Come by if you have time. :)
Happy Sunday!
I love tracks in the snow. down at my pond I try to catch different prints when the water is low and there is mud. sweet squirrel. MB
EG: What a neat shot of the Black Squirrel. I posted a couple also. We are so lucky to have them close at hand.
Our squirrels are grey. Yours are much ore dramatic! Love those little tracks. :)
