Shadows on snow make a perfect monochrome. I really like the delicacy of those seedheads.

Onteresting play on those shadows! I almost didn't notice the single flowers/weeds shadows until I took another look. Came out perfect!

Thanks for your comment, but I thought not creative, I had only in the right moment the camera, I came from a walk and saw this funny snow carpet.
The snow makes a very pretty back ground,
The sun light making the shadows gives a lovely calming effect.
Such simplicity! It makes a great photo...B&W or otherwise I bet.
I think this one is quite unique and that you didný need to do many chances on the original photo to show the beauty of those shadows on snow.

The word that comes to mind is "quiet". I guess it's the nature of snow to absorb sound or something, but it always seem to be almost deathly quiet after a snowstorm. And if a photo can capture that, this one would be the one.
Peaceful, pretty, makes me think I could almost like snow. Not quite, but almost.
