Shadows on snow make a perfect monochrome. I really like the delicacy of those seedheads.

Onteresting play on those shadows! I almost didn't notice the single flowers/weeds shadows until I took another look. Came out perfect!

Wonderful picture with light and intersting shadows!

Thanks for your comment, but I thought not creative, I had only in the right moment the camera, I came from a walk and saw this funny snow carpet.

The snow makes a very pretty back ground,
The sun light making the shadows gives a lovely calming effect.

Such simplicity! It makes a great photo...B&W or otherwise I bet.

I think this one is quite unique and that you didnĂ˝ need to do many chances on the original photo to show the beauty of those shadows on snow.

Interesting use of the shadows. Well done.

That's the way I appreciate snow, pure when no one has yet trodden on it, intact. I let you imagine how it becomes in Paris.

These shadows are so fine.

Excellent!

The shadows are perfect. It's amazing what you can do with a simple clump of dried out vegetation.

A dormant garden can still be beautiful!

Love those snowy shadows. And if there are shadows, that means there is SUNSHINE!!! YAY!!!

The word that comes to mind is "quiet". I guess it's the nature of snow to absorb sound or something, but it always seem to be almost deathly quiet after a snowstorm. And if a photo can capture that, this one would be the one.

Peaceful, pretty, makes me think I could almost like snow. Not quite, but almost.

So many of your readers have said this already... but it's true... the snow is a perfect surface to show off a great shadow!

Bright white = nice shadow.
