A mystery house huh? Beautiful shot of house in snow but I like the fence most of all. It shows real character. . . I lied -- I like the snow most of all . . . but after that----
It's a really romantic picture and I certainly fancy the house hidden behind trees and bushes, seemingly a peaceful place, but there is one room that you are not to enter for.... Now you can start a gothic novel. Thanks for showing!
Now that's a perfect place for spinning a tale, a fairytale of course!
I do wanna know more about this place. And I love that fence.
I think it is very nice. Quiet. Peaceful. The snow, undisturbed, on the fence. Nice.
Spectacular!!!
I really think the Ice Dancers on your previous post are magical. MB
Reminds me of a house I lived in when I was a girl. A lovely house on a wooded lot, surrounded by a post and rail fence. Lovely.
I love it! Great framing with the fence.
That is an amazing shot! I am sure the house has a ghost! A place the children in the neighbourhood are a little bit afraid of walking by....But still, it is a peaceful place. Love the fence!
excellent composition. very interesting photo that catches one's attention.
Really nice shot! That rustic looking fence goes great with the show and bare branches. I'd almost expect a horse and sleigh to come into the picture. :-)
This is a very romantic landscape. And the photo is a stunner.
This is such a beautifully composed photograph, picture postcard perfect. I love it.
Excellent photo. Very dramatic composition. The sepia effect makes it even more dramatic.
Looks like a lovely place to come home to.
That looks like a wonderful piece of property. I'll bet it is great to live there. Um, make that when there isn't snow on the ground, LOL!
Darla
This is just as picture perfect as all the rest of your work. You are an amazing photographer. Really like this one.
Great mystery house! Do you still have as much snow?
Yes, a scene for a scary thriller... Happy Sepia Scenes, EG! :)
The sepia adds a mysterious pale bronze to the house. In this shot we do wonder about this abode as we can only see a small part of it. We are left to wonder if we should venture further and investigate the place or have second thoughts and get out of there...
Does anyone live there? Or do ghosts inhabit the place, now? Oooo
Very nice photo at any rate!
I absolutely love old wooden fences. Beautifully done in sepia.
Another spectacular shot that could be an amazing pen and ink drawing!
B.
I'm just sure someone is in there in front of a blazing fire with a warm cup of chocolate and a good book!
Very nice in sepia.
looks great in sepia effect
My entry for SC this week : in HERE. Hope you have time to visit . Thanks
Beautiful snow, beautiful scene... like in a fairy tale. Best wishes :)
These are all stunning photos!!
Perfect choice for sepia -- or any monochrome for that matter.
Beautiful shot!
I love your sepia photo, some of my mono ones look better in sepia.
No! way will I be able to do another meme...lol
Very tempting though... :-)
Hi!
Looks like there could be lots of secrets there. Great shot! Have a great day!!
Sherrie
love the old fences, and the way the house is almost hidden! wonder what view they have there, which enticed them to build on the far side of the hill?
it looks so cozy all tucked away
I love the way the fence follows the slope
Love this one! Love that fence.
This picture is hauntingly beautiful.
Nice sepia tinting, I'm still working towards those pale sepias. It's taking time!
wow I am simply in awe of this picture. What an incredible capture and simply marvelous job!!
I too love shots that make us wonder what happened or what is going on behind the walls.
This is a stunning entry. I do so hope you will forgive me for being so late in getting around.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see mine.
Happy weekend,
Jackie:-)
So beautiful. Excellent choice for sepia, too. Frame this one!
Beautiful photo of this house in the woods.
I like the fence too, as the others said.
Did Hansel and Gretel live there? ;-)
