Hooray for ice melting! Spring must finally be on its way to you!
I wonder if the whole bridge is made of wood ?
In this case, I imagine hearing cars going over it, their wheels on the planks.
Many textures on your picture.
I like all the different shades of colors provided by the sun or lack of sun in areas. Interesting!
Great photo, EG.. The reflections and colors are great.. Would be good in monochrome.
Hugs,
Betsy
I wonder if the whole bridge is wooden too!
The bridge is not totally wooden, just underneath. Above there's metal and concrete. I'll post another photo at another time to show you. ;-)
Cool! Were you standing right up under the bridge when you took this?
No ice on your the river. Here in Finland is now fifteen degrees cold. But perhaps people here like it. ;-)
Wonderful photo. Love the reflection. Yeah, for no ice.
Like the sunlight and it's reflection. A wonderful photo, as always.
Nebraska Birding
It looks surprisingly cosy under that bridge. The textures are great - I agree, it would also be good for monochrome.
What a great photo, just a lovely shot. Wish I could be standing there to see it for myself.
I'm always curious at what lies under the bridge. Great snap.
Wow that is a very unique shot, you gave me some great ideas for pics to take this summer.
Cheers

I shudder to think where the photographer has been herself to get this wonderful shot. You have done it again. Made something quite mundane in to a piece of art.
This is by far the best I have seen this week. It's a credit to your imagination to see it would make a great photo.
Margaret
So glad that spring is on the way up north! Very interesting photo from down under!
Spring is hear, but I do wish it would warmm up....great photo
Gill
Glad to hear and see that the ice is melting! It has started a little also here in Oslo....but still too much snow! Like the texture in the picture - and lovely reflections!
Did you see any trolls? :)
Nice shot for all your reasons.
Looks like a good place to go fishing or swimming.
That's a cool photo - I like it!!!
I really love this photo for all the same reasons you said especially the reflections
This is a neat picture. You were right under the bridge from the looks of it.
Great reflections! What we won't do for a nice shot! LOL!
Great reflection shot. I am so happy to hear the ice is melting for you. Ours is finally gone too and it's wonderful to see water again!
I too say hooray for the ice melting! Yay! nice shot!
This is good EG, and I guess I'm not the only one that says" Hooray for the ice being gone!"
Happy WW
B.
Roll, river, roll!
Aloha-
The colors and textures in this image - especially the reflections on the water's surface - would make it a good candidate for a gazillion-piece jigsaw puzzle.
Super shot. Love the wooden reflection AND the snow and ice are gone. YAY!!! MB
Great photo! The sunshine, shadows, reflections, subtle colors... These are all of my favorite aspects in one :).
Good to see the reflections of the timber. What are those short timber for?
Happy spring to you! Great photo!
Lovely composition, with the contrasting textures of water and wood!
I like the way there are different textures to the water, and what they do for the reflections!! And the fact that the sunlight burned out the brown grass! The brown grass makes me think of the lawns that need to be raked!
I like the reflections, and I want to imagine that it is an old wooden bridge.:)
great picture
The photo's with the reflections in water that you've shown lately are beautiful.
Darla
Impressive...now how DID you get under there?!
Linnea,
I just climbed down the grassy bank. ;-)
nice water wednesday submission.
I'm glad you took this photo -- it's absolute beautiful. The light is just perfect.
BEautiful clear reflections! Great shot and symmetry!
How deep is that? Makes me wonder....great image!
