Sunset Over Puddles/ Sky Watch
The sunset was rather blah and undramatic...until I noticed the reflections in the farmer's puddly field. I had just enough time to snatch my camera and shoot before the sun disappeared below some drab clouds. Another near miss!

Great reflections. Good reflexes about camera grabbing. LOL.
I feel naked without my camera in my hand. I think it is glued on.

Sometimes it is all about being at the right place at the right time! Great reflections from a nice sky!
As I always say: The foreground makes the picture - as you have shown here.
Reflections the quality can enhance enormously.
Oh this is FABULOUS! Great capture!!

Beautiful! I love the reflections in the water on the field!
Good capture with the reflections in the puddles.
I like the soft light of the sunset and the puddles are definitely the icing on the cake. Wonderful photograph.
there is always a post in every photo we take. thanks for sharing.
Beautiful photo!!
Happy SWF
Love how all those puddles fracture the sky colours into "casmeo roles". Beautiful!
Love the peachy reflection in the puddled field. I love the brilliant sun poking through the trees. Glad you saw that, great capture!
THose reflections are PERFECT! right place, right time. :) Have a great weekend. :)
You've done it again. Like Valkyrien said. The right time and place. But then you always are. I love this picture and the fact that your snow has melted away.
I have also noticed that many of the evening shots have definitely been in the little things. It a very beautiful photo. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
Smiles
Lovely reflections. I picture you standing in the field, waiting with your camera for the sun to set.
Wow! These are really super. I am glad you were there at the exact right time!
Looks like you guys are enjoying a melt, I wish, its still freezing here. Great photo as always!!!

Ooh, that IS a great capture. Talk about being in the right place at exactly the right time.
Another great capture. Love the reflections. Well observed and captured.
EG: Very nice reflections in the puddles, cool effect.
Love the colours in the sky and the reflections in the water - great.
That is sooo pretty...almost as pretty as my granddaughter who just left. hehehe
I am slow getting started visiting...this is my first visit for skywatch. It is really lovely.
Never did muddy puddles look so beautiful! Wonderful photo of sky and reflection!
Beautiful reflections, great stuff.
Beautiful capture!
What luck to find those puddles and multiply the prettiness of the sky by 2. Happy SWF!
I love that you found beauty in what others would see as muddy puddles. What a great photo!
Peach reflections. That sounds so nice, and I can just imagine the pleasant aroma to go with it. My first thought when I saw the reddish water was something like a scary novel. Brrrr!
Just in time - great capture.
yes, nice reflexion.
Next time, always standby with camera in hand! ;)
Fabulous, the color of the sky reflects on the water on the land...
thanks for sharing...

You're right, the reflections in the puddles make the photo. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful reflections and the rain is nice too!
What a lucky shot! The reflection in the puddle is terrific! Have a great SWF!
Nice shot! I love how the puddles picked up the sun and sky.
Just plain ordinary mud, elevated to splendor! Wonderful capture!!
Photographing over water is the ebst way to add extra light an shimmer and as you've proved puddles are a photographer's friend.
I love reflections and you have been doing some fine ones. That and your spectacular shadows. :)
This is such a fascinating photo because of the sky reflection being more intense than the actual sky. I love it!
How wonderful to pay attention to what we don't see! Great image!
Love that incendiary burst of sun behind the trees.
Very nicely done. The reflection in the puddles is a great addition. Smiles B
Amazing capture as always!
That sun does go down fast. I've missed many myself. Gorgeous shot EG. Love the reflections and the colors!

Great spot and capture, this proves sometimes you need to look around!
Looks like fire in the water!
You do seem to always be in the right place at the right time for you and for us.
Beautiful.
What a beautiful setting this is, i love those clouds in the back ground, Such wonderful colors
I love sunset and the peach reflectionsmakes it even more unique. Best wishes :)
Every time I see you pictures I feel like I'm waking up on my childhood farm near Peterborough. It's as though we live in a parallel world. Sometimes I thought that world was barren, boring, and an ugly brown, but when you look at it through someone else's eyes as evidenced by all your comments you see the beauty in it all over again.
Beautiful shot, the reflection is awesome with a range of colors getting reflected.
Beautiful.... I'm so glad you got the reflection... I also thought you Tic-Tac-Toe shot... :O)
Nice capture..love the color and the soft light.
True, perfectly captured with the puddle reflection! Happy weekend!
Beautiful image to me, I think the sky would attract me as well. Happy swf!
Oh hey, you're right — the colors in the puddles are much richer. Now I want to know why that is!
What a sweet pink sky - I miss brightness...
i like the lines and angles in this picture!
The field, the dead trees and the beautiful sky. Beautiful!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Near miss but a great catch. Ilove the puddles with reflections.

What a great shot! And, its nice to see that you are finally beginning to thaw out.
Those moments can be so fleeting, great you were able to capture the photo, I like it,
Margaret
Gorgeous photo!! I love the way the clouds and the horizon and the fencerow are roughly parallel, and the furrows go another direction, and the trees yet another.
Amazingly beautiful. I love the reflections.
