Snake Island - an early 1800s Chippewa settlement led by Chief Joseph Snake Now cottages populate this island located in the southwest end of Lake Simcoe, and the only remains of the Chippewa settlement is Chief Joseph Snake’s grave.

Wow...such glorious beauty, great shot! I love the little honey bee below, I'd give anything to see her in my yard again. I think all the aerial spraying has really contributed to the demise of our lil' pollen-covered friends here in Iowa.
