Painted/ Photo Hunter
This week's Photo Hunter challenge: painted
Someone must have thought the side of this building looked boring as a plain white wall so they painted on a window.
Trompe de L’oiel ("Trick of The Eye”) are paintings that create illusions. I hope you were fooled for at least a second or two.

Fooled me for a minute...I thought they were windows. Great eye and great shot!
That's a hoot! :-)
Fun! What a novel idea. Better than plantings to disguise that side of the building.
You fooled me for a minute! ;)
Great catch for this theme EG!
Mine is up too!
Have a great weekend :)

That is fabulous -- I was definitely fooled. I could have seen it easier IF the shape above it at the roofline hadn't been made that way. Looks perfectly natural to me!
What fun! Someone sure has a sense of humor.

Haha! That got me, I was busy looking at the painted trims, didn't realize the whole darn thing was painted. Good one.
Yep, me too. I love the creativity, here. Good capture, great for the theme.
That's a pretty cool trompe-l'oeil I think!
I was definitely fooled and I love it! Hope you have a great weekend.
What a cute idea!I loved this picture!

I like it! This is a great photo for the theme.
Neat, EG.... It certainly did enhance that side of the building. WOW!!
Hugs,

Love the unusual trompe l'oeil example. Nice one!
Very inventive painting! And it looks quite stylish!
I bet those windows are easy to keep clean
i actually thought it's a glass window with dark curtains.:D nice...
Great! I love the way things like this give wings to the imagination.
That is a great photo, and an excellent concept.
My 'PAINTED' is posted now. Hope you can join me at my blog today sometime. Have a great weekend.
What a clever idea and if you have not mentioned it i will really think that's a real window. :)
Happy week-end!
I like it. I have a bare wall on the side of my house, maybe I should try this.
I wasn't fooled but have to say that the house looks like it's got eyes! ;b
Aloha from Maui, Hawaii!
Very creative artist--whom ever decided to paint that window.
My "painted" is posted too!
