Pink/ Photo Hunter

A wild rose in a ditch beside a country road in East Gwillimbury

This week's Photo Hunter challenge: Pink

A bit battered, perhaps, but still lovely. Well, at least the little white spider appears to be enamored with the blossom.

Lovely photo! Wild roses are so pretty!

And your previous posts are also great; The SkyWatch is simply stunning! And I didn't wish you a happy Canada day! Love the sepia you did on that one!

Regarding the shot of the bumblebee: I only used my steady hands - no stand! I have a steady hand! :)

Mmmmm I can almost smell them. Wild roses are beautiful. Lovely macro shot.

I very often find that wild flowers look far better than the garden varieties - as you have shown here.

PS Thank you for then comments - I'll look forward to any bench you post. With your ability they are bound to make good subjects.

It is interesting how some things - like flowers - can be all beat up but still look enchanting...

Nice shot, and I'm glad the spider cooperated with you!

I thought you were going to say you still loved it...I see what you are saying about the spider. I really like it, too. Spider and all.

This is definitely a pink wild rose. The battered look just adds to its charm.

Kinda like people when they get old. . . they can still be lovely.
