Colour Across the River/ Watery Wednesday

Autumn colour on the other side of the river

I tried to get to the river's edge before the boat sped by but all you can see is its wake. My trek wasn't a total loss though because the view on the opposite shore was picturesque (if you ignore the twigs between my lens and the water).

Great shot--I am glad the boat got away because the focus should be the trees anyway. Doncha love this time of years---well if it's not raining. MB

Oh but the twigs in the front of the photo make the picture three dimensional! The beautiful blue water sets off the Fall colors of the trees on the opposite shore!

Yes, but the twigs add so much detail, and Nat. Geo never takes out twigs or wires.

I rather like the twigs... I think they are in the perfect position to enhance the photo! Very twiggy! The twigginess is extreme!

Actually I like the twigs in the foreground! I think it tells more of the story of the surrounding area...what beautiful water and the fall colors...amazing!
