MB, The background here is water pouring over the falls. Itsy-Bitsy is so light because the sun was shining plus the water created a glare. Not a great photo but is eerie enough for Halloween.
Ahhh! an eight legged monster... ;o) I'm one of those that can not stand being near to them... Jane as to move them from my sight ... yet I admire them for they skill.. Tom
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Of course Itsy-bitsy needed to get out and so kind of you to let him. Really neat shot, EG.
How do you get such a nice background? MB
Great! I've tried capturing spiders and webs with no luck at all. I've seen some beautiful ones too,

Looks like he is almost ready for the weekend.
Cool spider, and that background is awesome! You have a great catch here!
Blue and white. What a great composition, so "simple" and so well done!
love the way the web is a work in progress!!
Awesome!
Why, he is cuter than Wolfie!

Super shot...it's so hard to get a spider well but you did it. Love the blue background, too...
Didn't scare me, though. I'm from Florida and we have to deal with snowbirds every year! ;-)
That is a great shot.I hope you had a long lens. I do not want to get that close to Itsy-Bitsy.
great shot for halloween--very creepy. The detail is great.
Wonderful macro! Its amazing.
Great shot on the spider as long as they stay in the pictures a dont like them:( but your shots is very nice.
Great macro. You captured wonderful light on the spider and web.
Definitely smaller than my spider a week ago. . . I like the intricacies of this partial web.
Just how itsy-bitsy was it? Lorelei's mom will not kill spiders...she captures them and takes them outside...
That is a cool spider picture! I have been off my macros a bit lately.... I should work on some more shots!
Love the intriguing web art! And the spider looks aglow!
wow outstanding macro!
