You do such a beautiful job with the theme challenges.
Really looks like winter is just around the corner. Bet is is chilly too.
Darla
I saw that railway bridge, and instantly recognized it! Not that I have evr seen this one before, but the pattern is so familiar!
I LOVE the light coming through the cattails!
This is a beautiful autumn scene. The light is just perfect.
Great shot, EG. It is true once the wind and rains come and the freezes---nothing is left. Bare branches are rather pretty though--maybe? MB
That is a great picture. I love the fall colors. Our trees are losing all of there leaves too.
Great picture, EG... Looks like the END of Fall!!!! That's really kinda sad, isn't it????
Hugs,
Betsy
I love the grass in the foreground. I have an end of summer picture up today too.
Outstanding landscape, I just loved those trees!
Léia
No, they're not bare, there's still lots of fall colors - Very pretty there by the river
It's funny, we have a railroad similar to that one here - it always has water beside it, even though it's just a ditch.
Beautiful picture capturing autumn at its finest
How beautiful!!!!! Everything screams autumn!!!!!! You captured it so magnificently!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Forgot to say I also left a comment on your post below I missed yesterday when I was extremely busy.
The faded autumn colours are so wonderful!
Gorgeous!
The color is exquisite! The bare trees add all the more contrast...the water is gorgeous and then the railroad bridge...awesome! Love it!
Very nice autumnal waterway/railway bridge shot!
Winter is soon to arrive, methinks!
A beautiful and bright autumn scene!
MB,
I think bare branches are often graceful, elegant and beautiful so, although I like leaves, I don't see their falling a tragedy. ;-)
Beautiful Autumn scene and a great watery post.
Hi EG, lovely scenery! I can still see the faint colors of FALL!
Ebie's Watery Wednesday.
Wonderful fall colors and a very picturesque photo. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty, pretty colors still EG. Good thing we have our camera to capture these moments.
It is cold here tonight and snow is predicted for the next few days. sigh...
B.
What a gorgeous scene.
i'm amazed every time i visit your blog. what wonderful colors!
Nice combination of colors!
Check out swimming with the kids.
It is beautiful surrounded by the fall colors of the trees. Happy watery Wednesday.
WOW ... what a marvelously colorful watery view! Just stunning ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
A beautiful last look at the colour change. Blends in well with the water theme. Nice going!
That looks so sunny and warm.... I am jealous!
The cattails really get pretty, I think. I was trying to capture the way they look in evening light and never did quite catch the feel of it.
That is very lovely. I like the faded colors in this one. How did you get that effect? Well done!
