no one is skating or fishing?

brrrr, it must be so cold. I read in brisbane, a square recorded 56 degrees.

All I could think of was the water looks like satin fabric in this photo.

I like this picture of the frozen creek.

Beautiful view of your frozen creek and nifty ruby tractor in the previous snowy photo too (though methinks that spreading manure isn't something I'd enjoy doing).
Hugs and blessings,

Longing for days like that. . . at least it has been dry -- WITHOUT RAIn -- the past two days. One day of snowfall is like old man winter laughing at me. sigh

IIt is 57 degrees here today!

Smooth as silk, E.G. What a great place to ice skate - assuming, of course, that it's frozen solid!

Looks cold to me! But just exactly what I would have loved when a kid.

Re sewing--EG, I quit making clothes for almost the same reason. That, plus I have put on weight till it is hard to fit myself...I would still make the occasional clothing item if not for that.

When Lorelei's mom was in 2 or 3 grade, she did not like the clothing offered kids her age, and I made her lots of skirts, etc for little cost. Of course, even then it was with fabric on sale...but you never find it really on sale much any more.

The shot does convey the feeling of 'enough already--let's warm up here'. LOL
