Daily/ Photo Hunter

What could be more "daily" than a clock with hands that make a full cycle twice daily?

This week's Photo Hunter challenge: daily

This clock tells time on a main street in Uxbridge, Ontario.

Does it go tick tick tock tock because it is 'two-faced'?
Oh I guess it is too early in the morning here. MB

Beautiful subject, beautifully composed, and beautifully "fixed." I love this!

The question is for a clock: "Do you use Dial?"

The answer is: "Only on my face!"

Have a great weekend, EG!

We have one similar in my home town, and it's over 70 years old.

I am not much of a clock lover, but I sure love this one.

Lovely clock. Public clocks are few and far between, now... especially WORKING clocks. Usually, if they are a digital clocked they are blank and the other kind, perpetually at the same hour.

I realized when viewing a number of old photos of public spaces on Shorpy.com just how we humans used to depend on public clocks, and prior to that, church bells, to keep ourselves on time.

I don't wear a watch at all and either have to depend on my cellphone, a stranger's watch, or the timestamp on receipts.

That is a great clock and nicely photographed. Sorry I'm a day late getting to your post, but great take on the theme.
