T for Tribal
Tribal Voices is the name of a shop in Port Perry. The name above the door is made up of individual carved letters. I'm not sure why elephants are part of the carving but I am guessing the letters were carved in Indonesia.Tribal Voices sells a variety of items made in Indonesia such a silver jewellery, teak furniture and home accessories .

They are beautiful...
That is quite a sign...haven't seen anything like it. The shop sounds like a lot of fun, too. What did you buy?

Wondering if the letters are teak -beautiful carvings.
Mine’s here: Round The Bend.
Great name for a shop like that and a cool image.
Pretty neat. I love the carving in the letters and looked and looked for that darn elephant....finally I found them. At least they aren't pink. MB
That is absolutely beautiful -- would love to see each one enlarged. I tried to enlarge whole thing but it didn't get bigger than posted. . . darn!
Beautiful! it take a good steady hand to carve those lettering, a great work of art!
How lovely to see such beautiful work in a shop sign! SO much nicer than neon, or ugly block lettering!
That certainly is a beautiful sign. I like all the detail you've captured in your photo.
The sign is a work of art! Elephants are quite common in Asian jungles (smaller than the African elephant) and that's why they're probably in the sign.
Great and unique shot:)
Such a gorgeous 'T'! I love all the details, such masterful carving. Thank you for sharing this.
I like how intricately they carved each letter. And you capture it with great macro shot. Thanks!
Macro Monday~ The bud
I can't even imagine how long it took people to carve such beauty. Those are great photographs and do the letters proud!
