Falling into the Talbot River, Ontario
He looked like he was trying to fly but couldn't get any lift. It was a long way down!
Swimming to shore so they could jump again
To jump and swim, three boys had ridden their bikes to the top of the bridge I was standing on. They were having a great time and were delighted I had my camera to document their bravery.
Even though I was using my telephoto lens, the boys still appeared to be a long way down.

That first picture is great. Frame It!!
I took several pics of the Kingfisher yesterday and then off he went. Do you suppose he was posing for me? They are such a surprise to see. MB

Did you really believe he would fly? :-)
You did a great job taking these photos full of action.
Thanks for your visit!
I simply love the first shot! It remind sme of old movies for some reason.
Wow - that first photo is amazing. Such height and flight!
What great fun! And great photos! Brings back lots of memories.
What a great way to cool off. Your first picture is absolutely wonderful.
Great shots of summer fun. That takes me back to my childhood. We used to jump off a bridge into the Neuse River on the coast, although we weren't supposed to do it. No one ever got hurt.
memories are made of these fun lazy summer days.
You really captured the moment :)

I'd join in too, being an adrenalin junkie myself. :P
pure joy!
Joy sums up those photos perfectly!
How fun! Nice action catch!
I wonder how cold the water was? I'd like to swim there, but I don't think I'd like to jump into the water from a great height. Too much water would go up my nose!
This looks so cool and wonderful from where I am viewing it in the southern desert of New Mexico!
Great shots.
Thank you for visiting my blog and I know that Sugar Loaf is famous in Canada.
A perfect summer experience. And the boy who jumped is aware that he's being photographed.
That looks like so much fun. The perfect way to beat the heat.
Lovin' those! Gorgeous shots. Happy summer!
Oh my gosh, it is so hot here and that looks like such a cool thing to do!!

He actually jumps for joy!

The first shot is a winner. Great capture.
Oh, wow! that was the most perfect moment! Freezing the moment was just superb.
Just the thought of it makes my heart want to jump out of my chest. I'm such a chicken.
But they sure do look like they're having lots of fun!
Marvelous summertime picture, - a great capture and if he couldn't get the lift to fly he could certainly lift other's spirits with memories of happy days.
Summertime...the living is easy and the boys are having such fun! Great capture.
what joyful scenes!:p the first photo is fantastic!
In your first photo it looks as if the boy is jumping forever. I was going to say falling but he is actively engaged. Great fun on a warm day!
I love the harvesters in your previous post. Those machines look fearsome but the people who designed them have a wonderful understanding of the requirements.
It looks so refreshing... I could actually use a pool like this one... The weather is too hot, actually...
Great shots, especially the first one, and the second one below provides an excellent context.
The first one is taken perfect! Looks like a great place to take a bath:-)
I'd like to do that!
Summertime, and the living is easy!!! And fun.
My Wednesday Post
Awesome shots! That's something I'd love to do - unfortunately I don't know of any water deep enough!
That first shot is great!
Thanks for coming by!
That's braver than I have ever been. I like the way you captured both shots. The first one ought to be in your local paper.
