Pond at the Eldred King Tract of the York Regional Forest
It was a perfect day for wading in the water but the golden retriever preferred to swim while the girl searched for minnows and tadpoles.

Goldies love the water.
If you lack water - visit us :-)
A very nice atmosphere you have captured, though.
A classic summer scene. A Norman Rockwell moment!
Love the golden in the scene too. Such a Norman Rockwell feel.
I just noticed Greensboro DP said the same thing!
what a pretty spot...i could sure join that dog in this weather we're having!
what a fine capture. a lovely summer scene.
Looks like a nice place to be on a hot summer day.
Beautiful image, great reflections. I would love to be dipping my feet in that water! =)
Now this is what I call a perfect summer scene.
Also very Mark Twain. Either way it creates a very nice innocent lazy summer feeling. Love it
He, i love this photo... Full of life.
It looks like a perfect summer day! That sure sounds like a Golden Retriever...swimming when water is near!
Such a calm scene! A good place to be, with all the heat and humidity we have been having this month!
That is a very good way to spend a summer day!
Looks like the pup wanted to join in too! Fun!
Perfect summer day. What could be better. When we were kids we used to catch the little fishes by hand. We would dam off a site and put all the fishies in there and then open it up and they would swim away. Simple pleasures. MB
A nice moment captured!
What a lovely scene! Great shot.
Beautiful scene :)
a classic summer scene.
So relaxing and lovely.
The view is very relaxing and refreshing as well.
i wish there is also a pond nearby so my dog can swim. marvelous shot.
So tranquil! Love it!
So calm and a lovely summer spot to visit.
Sweet photo! Our poor Golden is not doing too well...hips have just about given up. She is one of those Goldens who didn't swim...she'd wade but not swim.
totally relaxing :)
I would have loved to have joined them at the lake.
I believe my JRT would love it too, not to mention myself too!
That's cute! It also looks like a fun way to spend an afternoon.
It is great, I like it.
They look like they are enjoying their day....
Both the dog and the girl are having a good time....
