Belwood Lake Conservation Area last night
My husband and I took a road trip to Fergus and Elora, Ontario yesterday and on the way back stopped at the Belwood Lake Conservation Area just before sunset. When I took this shot, I was on the path over the dam that creates the lake on the Grand River.

OH, now that is one heck of a sunset shot...with the river rolling through the woods - leads you right into that brilliant fire in the sky!

I do love it when the sun gathers its wonders around itself instead of emblazoning the whole sky.
The halo banda from gold to red show up so well with the diffusing clouds behind.
