I've not seen Spanish poppies before. Very pretty. I like the orange color. (The second pic does not show up on my computer. Wonder why?)
I love the color of this flower. The orange is so typical of fall. Gorgeous
Haven'tseen Spanish poppies before. The colours are vibrant and a real eye catcher.
(I had a wonderful time with the daughter. It's nice visiting.)

These are so beautiful...it looks like a painting! Thanks for stopping by.
Great shots! I love how you separated the flowers from the background!
It's very pretty - looks like crepe paper.
But how do you know it's Spanish. Did it say "Hola, Senora" as you walked by? :-)
They are so frilly and happy! And I love the fall color! Happiness!
It's so nice you still have some to enjoy! I started seeing them as early as June in Vermont. But I doubt there are any left by now in New England.
I've seen the red ones (I love that famous scene in the Wizard of Oz where Dorothy and her pals become intoxicated and lay down in a huge poppy field! ;-)
I wasn't familiar with spanish poppies. These are beautiful.
Gorgeous Spanish poppies! I've seen the double petals before..
Such a beauty, and I love the addition of the pod with the flower.
