Ducks and water belong together!! We have a small pond in the backyard and guess what...
A duck arrives every morning, scares the cat and goes for a little swim:)

The water looks like satin, great capture.
I'm cold looking at it swim, but the duck seems content in its world.
Do the ducks stick around for the winter? Does this lake freeze over? Kind of a strange concept for me so I'm ever curious.
I don't see the blue on the feathers... I wonder if that is a black duck as they look like mallards but without the blue band...
that is definitely a calm and sophisticated duck---not what I expected when I saw "Ducky"
