Plant life is closing down for the season - end of October 2010
Largest square: horses staring at me. I guess I was more interesting than the browning pasture grass! Notice the shrubs behind have lost their leaves.
Moving clockwise: water is high in the river, sheep and horse eating mostly dried grass, sparrow sitting in a barren shrub, milkweed seeds escaping to grow away from the mother plant, and a newly cut field with the last remaining leaves on trees as a backdrop.

That storm really took out a lot of our leaves..Only a few striped maple and some oak hanging on...here comes winter...Love the collage....Michelle

A wonderful presentation of what is going on in your neck of the woods. Those horses look to be in superb condition and your countryside is so beautiful with the stubble fields and the last of the colourful leaves.
