Flowerbed in a canoe outside an art gallery, Huntsville, Ontario
What do you do when you live in Toronto's Cottage Country, there's tarmac outside your door and you want flowers? Plant your annuals in an old canoe!

What was the name of the art gallery, can you remember?
As you walk in York Regional Forest so much, we should arrange to meet up one day!
Creative and beautiful display.
What a clever way to get some plants into the front of the building. Love the orange color as well.

Great idea, and great find! The flowers are lovely.
Now I have seen everything
A good way of recycling! lol
very beautiful collage.
Beautiful pictures.
I like your collage too.
have a nice Sunday, Tina!!
A lovely collage, and that canoe being used as a plantar is so clever.
I love the old canoe being used as a flower bed. Beautiful selection of blooms.
I need to go look for an old canoe!
Nice find and lovely collage!

You have a fabulous collage of gorgeous flowers!
an orange canoe planter--quite unique. lovely collage.
Hey, EG Wow, This collage is a real Wow! It's colourful and cheery. We have a boring aluminum canoe so it wouldn't make a very good planter. The orange canoe also adds to the overall colour.
Yes, I enjoy creative uses for old "containers"... and you've used the canoe to anchor your pretty flower montage.
OMG what a ovely post EG!!!! The idea to keep flowers growing in an canoe was a new one ;-)
Love it!! Great collage. MB
Wonderful collage of a flowery canoe! Such a creative way to present colour in a small space!
A lovely collage for today's flowers. I like the idea of planting flowers in an old canoe. A good repurposing of an object!
I didn't realize that a canoe would make such a great planter! The flowers are beautiful as well.
Yes, that's a creative idea! Adaptive reuse! I bet it was part of the gallery's installation nature art! ;-)
Wonderful post. I love it when people plant or arrange flowers in unusual places. Gotta admit, this is the first time I've seen a canoe full of flowers!
Thanks.
Lovely collection of flowers!
