My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

What clear reflections. I'll admit to my ignorance tho, what are those things the birds are on? I'm guessing something you tie boats to.
Darla
Yes, Darla. You guessed correctly! )
I like the threes of this composition.
Highly enjoyable!!! :-)
Really nice and I like the reflection.
Good eye there EG. A special shot because it is 'just for the birds'. MB
This is a good one.
Great shot - the water looks so cold!
A graphically perfect shot!
Super shot! Love all the metal "frames" - especially the 1 with the bird in it.
i find the natural framing of the bird really nice.
great job again as always.
I really like this photo, EG. Very interesting and well done. What do these birds do when it gets really cold? Do they stick around or head south?
Jacob,
Some migrate south and some to McDonald's for fries. LOL If they can find food here, they'll stay.
Kind of a strange one, a bit sad and mournful.
Poor gulls, with the fishermen gone they'll have to work for their supper.
Great shot, the gulls do not seem to mind cold weather and winter.
The seagulls never leave that place for one thing the fish. ^_^ Great capture thanks for sharing!
Watery Wednesday
I don't recall ever noticing those things you tie the boat to.
The gulls do remain, don't they? I wonder if they are intelligent as crows are.
I like the one coming in for a landing. Nice capture.
looks like they are playing musical chairs. Do they like the icy winter?
Nice framing of the shot, love the elements in there.
the gulls feel they are always welcome wherever they land!
Gulls are fairly hearty birds so I can well imagine them flying around all year. Great combination of objects in photo.
I've started to post again; that is, if I can figure out how to do it again on my new iMac!
Beautiful composition and I love the reflection!
That's a wonderful subject.
Sydney - City and Suburbs

I woudl think there is a good chance that the water will also be starting to freeze over now as well!!
Try and stay warm,
Gill
This is a very good shot. I think it has everything a great shot shall have. :)
Did the gulls get mad & sink the poor boat? heheheee =)
Glad Darla asked what those things are. :)
Looks cold but he gulls don't seem to mind. I'm guessing they're missing handouts though.
Nice shot!
