Reflections on ice in Cobourg's harbour, last Monday
Monday was a bright (sometimes even SUNNY!) but cold day so my husband I drove south and east to Lake Ontario to visit in sun (or part sun) some of what we'd seen a week ago under thick overcast skies.

Yowsa! You somehow managed to make this an enticing and yet forbidding photo. Of course, I live in Florida, which means I'm used to warm weather! Hah! It was 25 degrees when I got up this morning! Boo!
But it will go back to normal by Monday. Yeah! That will make all our Ontarions very happy!
I don't care if the sky is blue it still looks mighty cold.

Re your comment on my blog: I didn't put the fruit out for the juncos. It's for bigger birds, but it seems the mockingbirds like it best. There was also some seed on the ground (sunflower, etc) that the juncos were going for. They don't like to eat at the feeder so I always scatter a little for them too. :)
Pretty neat! You can almost imagine this as a summer shot (sans the snow). The distorted reflection could be from a gentle summer breeze (one can dream, can't one?)
Worth going back for, definitely.
