That is one HUGE bale of hay. The red wagon adds a dash of colour to the photo.
Hay wagons have come a long way in the last century, haven't they! If that's the last hay those cows are going to have for the season, they're going to be in trouble. The farmers in this area will be experiencing the same problem as the spring/summer rains this past year only produced two hay cuttings rather than three.
Shouldn't he have made hay whilst the sun shone?

That is a pretty composition, EG. I think the bale was left behind for photographers.
I like this one. The red just adds so much.
lovely. Sometimes I wonder if we live inthe same Ontario. But I'm a city person and know how to find the beauty there, so thank goodness for the balance of your photos.

That is quite a wagon...bigger than the little red one I had when I was a kid (and yes, at one time I was a kid!)...Sheesh. I know what you're thinking!

Nice photo. It is common practice to leave rolled bales outside, only the outer layer gets wet.

It's too bad the farmer didn't get this bale in, but it did give you a great picture.
