A taste of my gardens in January
True, nothing is flowering but that doesn't mean my gardens are bare this time of year. Starting with the largest square and moving clockwise: seed pods of leopard plant (Ligularia), snow-covered wall at front of house, seed pods of purple coneflower (Echinacea), ornamental grass (Miscanthus). Rugosa rose hips and turtlehead (Chelone)

It looks very decorative ;-)
I do so like this montage of the nature's sculptures in winter. Ideal for Mosaic Monday as well.
And thanks for stopping by
Laura
I think there is beauty in nature no matter what season it is.. they all have their own treasures and pleasures.
Lovely collage, WOW!
be well, be happy,

The various seed pods and grasses are really interesting examined up close.

Wonderfull! Well done :)
Have a nice Wednesday
Doesn't matter that they are no longer in full bloom. They are beautiful this way too.
There is beauty in every season, but I do miss the colors of summer!
That's just wonderful mosaic! It's beautiful no matter what..
Oh I love this collage EG. Beautiful 'Notes of Nature'. MB
Such a pretty mosaic. Looks like you will have plenty of seeds for the spring. Can't wait to see these plants then.
Each has a beauty of its own and is arranged fabulously in a frame. This is a lovely art.
Getting near the end of January.... only 2 more months to go and then we might possibly see a bit of green emerging from the gray and white! Winter has it's own special beauty, but does it really have to last so long?????
love those shots!!! there's always something pretty to find if you just look hard enough!
I love, love your collages and this one is another good one! Makes me think of my parents' fabulous yard and all their flowers!
Januar Garden.. HOW beautiful it can be!! Absolutely fascinating!! The white snow behind.. I just love your collage!! :)
gardens are just as pretty in the winter--nice collage :)
pretty mosaic! So many great winter symbols. Very nice!
The snow makes your "winter garden" just beautiful!
Pretty mosaic and I like that you labeled these treasures from your winter garden.
Your garden does look good in the snow, especially when the snow is fresh and clean as it is on your wall. When it gets dirty like it now is here it doesn't look so good.
You have good reason to be proud of your garden.
I love the way gardens look in the winter when snow sits on top of seed heads and such. Your garden looks very beautiful.
I would have probably looked out at your gardens and seen only the snow. Sort of like you looking at the Ocala DP picture today. Heh, heh!
Oh, these are lovely!! Great collage!
