Our dogwoods, Cornus florida, are swollen and will soon burst into bloom. I have looked for the red osier dogwood around here but to no avail as of yet. this is a nice picture to use as a reference.Better than some of the guide books. nellie
The red osier stands out in your photo but there are so many other things that capture the eye. . . pure beauty! (Even if there isn't any more snow there.)
This is really pretty and so reflective of Southern Ontario ponds. I love to see them. Have you signed the petition against the CRTC attempt to charge internet by usage fees? Everyone will pay more to go n their blogs and post. Go over to my blog, the petition is there.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.

I'd love to have a big jar of those red stems and cattails to display.

A lovely pond with gorgeous reflections.
Very calm and peaceful, but I am getting tired of brown pictures. I'm ready for green. Aren't you?
Very nice. I love the colours of green and red and how they blend with the natural tans of nature.

Love that dash of red in the photo.
Love that dogwood! We are ready for spring.
So lovely and so different from our village pond!
I really like this picture. It looks like there is a skim of ice on the water, but I like the reflections. The red is a nice touch.
The dogwoods provide a nice pop of color letting us know the skim of ice will soon be gone.
Lovely shot!

I think you've got a bit of ice in addition to the other stuff mentioned.

Your company is always a special treat.
Love those dogwood stems. I planted some here just for some winter color.
They advertise cranberry here, and showed them harvesting cranberry in the water. I was curious and looked it up.
Your red plant, Not cranberry?
A delightful scene. The blue is gorgeous!
