Near Normal/ Nature Notes

A couple of turkeys predict near normal March weather for Ontario

Forget what Wiarton Willie (Ontario's official weather groundhog) said on February 2nd. Environment Canada (and the two turkeys above) NOW say Ontario's spring will  be early NEAR NORMAL.

And what's normal March weather here?  Let's just say those turkeys should be carrying umbrellas. March is our rainy season. Plus during the rest of the month, nights will be cool and the average daytime temperature will be about 8°C (46°F).

Please visit Michelle at Rambling Woods for more NATURE NOTES.

It is hard to know what is "normal" any more, isn't it.

I like the silhouette of the vine very much. The glow back of the farmyard is very pretty. I like how you kept visibility into the shaded side of these buildings.

I smiled at the term, near normal,is weather ever normal.
Over in my part of the country,it's best to look outside to get the forecast,as the weather people don't often get it right.

Normal is truly relative! But it's not always a bad thing ;=)

I just take what comes and deal with it. Plan ahead, and all. Hubby is addicted to weather watching on the 'net. Lotsa fun!

Normal is good, right? Great collage. Have you ever eaten wild turkey?

"Near Normal" is my goal in life -- but not too near.

Nice to know that 'normal' is the norm.

We are being very wet with a day of sunshine sandwiched inbetween. Mid to upper 40sF is our normal too. MB

normal March weather here is anything and everything!

But where are their umbrellas?? ;D
Many birds will get surprised in the early "Spring" when they come to their belonging "Spring place".. and find snow, cold nights, maybe cold days (at my place about 2 pluss - to 2 grades C below zero)....

A lovely collage you have here! :)

"Normal" is better than "late" anyway.

Love that mysterious snow pattern in the upper set.
