Cottage reflection last night on a Lake Simcoe inlet
This photo was taken yesterday just before sunset when the sun was low in the sky.
I was most interested in the light and reflection of the porch railings, how the railings in the reflection became squiggly lines.

Beautiful reflections. That looks like a nice place.
very nice. Great reflection.
Wonderful reflection. It's probably a good thing the lines are squiggly, otherwise it would be difficult to tell real from reflection.
Yes, the lines are interesting. I want to turn the photo upside down and view the reflection that way. It would be like an arty focus of some sort.

This is a great capture. I always enjoy your reflection shots.
A beautiful reflection off the lake!
Happy Easter to you and yours!
Perfect shot. And the lake looks ice free. I would like a cabin on a lake. MB
I like the squiggles in your shot...the reflection becomes a fine abstract of sorts. Very well done.
Fun, I love how water creates squiggles too.
Nicely done, EG.
even before I read your text I was delighted by the squiggly fence posts
beautiful shot
What a terrific capture! Love those squiggly lines! Hope you have a great weekend! Happy Easter!

EG Wow, rails are softly sunlit and telling us sunset is near. I love this time of the day very much. Light is exquisite. Photo looks like a gracefully beautiful picture. Have a great weekend.
I like your description of "squiggly lines" - perfect for this wonderful reflection shot!
Almost a mirror image!
this is so perfect if the photo was flipped upside down, it would be almost the same. great shot. and that sunrise or sunset below with the tree is fantastic.
Gorgeous reflection and shot. Have a great weekend!

Looks like it was a very peaceful evening there last night! Great shot.
Great shot! I like the squiggly railings, but I love the old dock, too.

This is a lovely reflection. You did a good job of capturing the light and color of the porch railings in the water.

Looks very peaceful!
A phenomenally beautiful reflection this week. The colors in the water are just too cool. I like everything about this shot.
Looks like you captured the reflection at the perfect time.
The reflected rails are not so squiggled, which shows soft breeze there. The place and the photo, both are fantastic!
The low sun gives such a warm glow to the brown porch and contrasts nicely with the grey dock... real and reflected. Happy Easter, EG!
Superb reflection. I really like Lake Simcoe!
