Two swans preparing to...er...sing?

Great shot and song reference although you are obviously very young. The "Sisters" song is from the movie "White Christmas" and was done by Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen in 1954 (before we were born too).

One of your most interesting photos...you really caught them in a great pose! The song I don't know. I do know, however, that many sisters do not get along too well so the song may be somewhat wishful thinking! :-)
Maybe it will be their 'Swan song'......

Jacob is wrong, at least in my case; my sister and I are very different, and don't act as one, but we get along great! :-D I'm a Bette Midler fan, so I had to go find the song and am listening now... fun song, don't think I've heard it before, though! And this is a fabulous shot of these swans... about to break into song... :-D

Thanks for your recent comment. Photography has taught me so much about birds. Before photography I would see birds on the water without knowing what they were but when I began photographing them then I had to know what they were. Not only that but having an image made Id easy as I could have the shot up on the screen while flipping through ref guides.

What an interesting photo. They seem to hold a pose for you. In Nara, sometimes a deer takes a pose for temporally cameramans - visitors, but always alone, not like this. Very precious and rare photo!! I love this.
