Fishing has never caught my interest, but this photo does point out the attraction of sitting peacefully in a pretty place. It probably gets spoiled now and then when you have to deal with a fish biting.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

I can find many other ways to enjoy the sun other than fishing. But I like the shot. hahaha
I think it would be a great way to spend the afternoon.
Oh I'm sure the fisherman is doing fine! What a nice scenery! :)
A super, Scenic Sunday snap! I wonder if Frank caught any fish?
Just sitting in the boat looks good to me. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Did you happen to get the guy's name? I'm looking to make friends with someone that likes to fish and has a boat preferably with a motor.
very nice.
i love this foto, very serene and quiet.
lovely reflection and a nice background.
I can almost hear a faint bird's call in the reverie of the fisherman's day!! Incredible.

I think that fishing gives you the excuse to just sit and enjoy your surroundings without feeling guilty about doing nothing!
What a relaxing image. :)

you have an amazing eye.
"he´s gone fishing" looks so relaxing. :)
I'm another that doesn't quite "get" fishing - but that is such a peaceful scene, perhaps I could be persuaded!
I actually cast my line in a few times yesterday, and was it fun!
